Briggs likes 18-game schedule
Chicago Bears linebacker Lance Briggs is one of the few who seems to support an 18-game regular season schedule.
He said he believes that there are more positive than negatives when it comes to an expanded schedule.
One reason he is in favor of an 18-game season is the fact that he will get paid significantly more than he does for those same games in the preseason.
Tom Brady and Ray Lewis are just two players who recently spoke up and said it was a bad idea.
NFL commissioner Roger Goodell had made it clear that he is very much in support of cutting the preseason and adding to the regular season.
